Woman = long hair

Anyone heard about this? In joining 'The View,' part of Rosie O'Donnell's contract states that she can't cut her hair.

What is it with people and hair, especially lesbians' hair? People hate to see a woman cut her hair, huh?

No kidding! Is it some kind of bizarre converse-Samson and Delilah thing?

Even my 5-year-old nephew is at this stage in his life where he's working out gender issues, and he defines female = long hair, and male = short hair. And I have REALLY short hair. (And I'm not even a lesbian.)

(His mother does have really long hair. She looks kind of like a pre-Raphaelite painting.)

I guess I'm his uncle. :-)
(But he still calls me "Weird Auntie Kim." It's ok, I told him to call me that.)

I think this whole thing about Rosie not being allowed to cut her hair is ridiculous.

I actually prefer MEN to have the long hair. I want to date a man who has to take more care of his hair than I do!
